Concise definition of the term master agreement
A master agreement is a document that sets forth the standard terms and conditions between two parties that apply to all or a defined subset of transactions that the parties to the agreement may enter into from time to time. Each time that a transaction is entered into, the terms of the master agreement do not need to be re-negotiated and apply automatically.
