    The Z-spread is the basis-point spread that would need to be added to the implied spot yield curve such that the discounted cash flows of a bond are equal to its present value (its current market price).

    Zero-based budgeting is budgeting method in which all expenses must be justified anew for each period.

     


  • zero-coupon bond

    Bond which are not endowed with a coupon but are issued with the interest discounted. Zero-coupon bonds do not generate any interest payments until their final maturity.
